Outdoor Vegas Weddings

Valley of Fire has some of the most amazing sunsets and red rocks there is in the Nevada desert. This weekend I was able to see some amazing captures with a beautiful couple. One of the things I love as a Las Vegas Wedding Photographer, is seeing the smiles that I can create with every shot with my clients.

The colors of this place is always amazing and it something I really looking forward to. Seeing all this reminded me of what the Native Americans saw and what our pioneers saw crossing these lands. Or what our ancestors saw seeing such a beautiful place. It was a very quiet place too where you can relax and enjoy nature with good friends and see the sky in its best moments.

Outdoor Wedding Venues Las Vegas

Shira and Josh and great appreciation and respect for this national park and what it has to offer. We got lucky enough to even spot a rainbow in the road! Heres what Shira has to say about our trip as her photographer,

I’m running barefoot, my stiletto heels in hand across the road at The Valley of Fire National Park to get to the perfect spot for our next shot. Lorenzo never stops giving directions on how to stand, where to look, and when to move. The sky literally looks like cotton candy we even have a rainbow come out at one point. Shades of hot pink, coral, and peach swirl around the red rocks on the horizon.

It’s hard to focus with the gorgeous view but Lorenzo is in work mode and knows when and where to get that perfect pic. Rewind to 4 months ago when I first described my vision to Mr. Sandoval, a well known Las Vegas photographer. Over the phone I just hoped he would understand what I was envisioning my wedding photos to look like. Lorenzo knows the desert and the city very well, he was born and raised in Las Vegas and he loves his city. He is easy to talk to and you can tell he has had practice talking to brides and couples. He asks lots of questions about your ideas, preferences, and concerns.

We chose Lorenzo for his knowledge of the area, his resume speaks for itself and his fine art photography is breathtaking. I am an artist myself and it was very important to me to find a photographer who has the passion of an artist and a true understanding of what I envisioned. Fast forward back to today the sun has set but the night was just beginning. Back in the city we discussed potential locations at length. We know a few trendy spots to hit like the Bellagio fountains, or the Las Vegas sign. As we drive into the city surrounded by lights of the strip we see the massive ferris wheel called High Roller and we know immediately where we want to go next! We get cute cocktails in sphere cups that look like the individual gondola seats. The drinks are Lorenzo’s idea used for a tasty photo prop.

The view was magnificent as we slowly climbed to the peak of High Roller. Lorenzo had us busy the whole time taking pictures with different backgrounds. Lastly we chose the Bellagio fountains. He knew how to quickly sneak through the massive maze of a hotel and get us a prime spot for pictures as the fountains, lights, and music began. It was one of the most magical nights of my life. Thank you Lorenzo for memories to last a lifetime.”
