The Desert Sky 

The reason why the sky turns into pinks and oranges during sunset is due to the scattering of light by the atmosphere. During the day, the sun’s light travels through the atmosphere and gets scattered in different directions, resulting in a blue sky. However, during sunset, the light has to travel through more atmosphere to reach our eyes, and the shorter blue wavelengths get scattered more, leaving the longer red and orange wavelengths to dominate. This is why the sky turns into shades of pink and orange during sunset, creating a beautiful and romantic backdrop for wedding and portrait photography at Jean Lake Bed.
