There is nothing quite like the excitement of a destination wedding. All the people who matter most travel to a new city to celebrate the love shared between the couple. Yet a destination wedding means you will have some things to consider, such as booking flights, finding all your guests’ adequate accommodation, and planning the transportation to and from the wedding venue. Even with the additional planning, a destination wedding presents the opportunity for something truly once-in-a-lifetime, a trip that friends and family will be talking about for years to come. Lorenzo Sandoval Wedding Photography can catch all the stolen glances, candid laughs, and beauty of the day.
If you are planning on tying the knot in Las Vegas, get ready for a whirlwind of excitement and fun! Start by imagining all the aspects of your dream day. What would you love to see at the location? What kind of catering do you plan to have? What entertainment have you always wanted? Do you dream of a classic white floral arrangement or bright colors around every turn? Perhaps you and your fiancé want to elope!
Whatever your ideal wedding day looks like, it’s important it reflects who you are as a couple. After dreaming and planning, you’ll definitely want to book an exceptional photographer to capture every moment of the beautiful day. Lorenzo Sandoval Wedding Photography has been helping couples create beautiful wedding albums they cherish for life, so here, we thought we’d share our tips to create a photography timeline for your wedding.
Revel in the excitement of getting ready to say I do with photographs of the bride getting her hair and makeup done and the groom putting on his suit or tux. Generally, it is a good idea for the photographer to arrive just as the bride is finishing her makeup to catch some action shots when she has already been primped and feels like her beautiful self.
As the bride finishes putting on her dress, the photographer can snap photographs of the details of the day, such as the veil flowing in the wind, the wedding rings in their boxes, any heirloom jewelry, champagne glasses, or the invitation.
Please Note: Remember, on your wedding day, it’s better to have extra time in the schedule than not enough! If your venue is more than a walk away from the getting ready suit, please account for that in the photograph schedule to avoid feeling rushed- because you’ll probably have some butterflies!
The timing of this section of the photography timeline depends on the style of the wedding. Yet, whether it is an extravagant affair with 10 bridesmaids or a micro-elopement, the first time the couple sees one another on the big day should absolutely be photographed.
Lorenzo Sandoval is an affordable elopement photographer Las Vegas who is incredibly talented at creating images that reflects the couple’s style. He will find the perfect location for the photographs, either classic Las Vegas strip wedding photography with black and white shots on the streets or magically ethereal images against the mountains.
For those having a larger affair, the wedding party photography can take some time, so allow for at least an hour. Some couples also bring their parents to photograph a few images with the entire family before the ceremony begins.
Please Note: Schedule at least 15-30 minutes between these images and the ceremony so you have time to freshen up. During this time, Lorenzo Sandoval will take pictures of the ceremony location and the guests as they arrive.
No matter what type of ceremony you have, the photographs of the moment you say “I do” will be the ones you hold most dear. Working with a event photographer who understands how to capture incredible shots, candid moments, and happy tears without being in the way leads to better photographs and a better wedding experience overall.
Please Note: With outdoor wedding photography Las Vegas, you need a local photographer. The warm desert climate can pose some challenges for less experienced artists.
Now the deed is done, it’s time to party! Lorenzo Sandoval is an expert at movement photography and can shoot you and your guests having a ball. Get beautiful still photography of the first dance as a married couple, the cutting of the cake, the hilarious or heart-filled toast, and any other traditions you have during the reception. After the party, be sure to get some images of you and your new spouse leaving, be it in a vintage car with a ‘just married’ sign or guests waving at you with sparklers in hand.
Please Note: The scheduling of the reception coverage is entirely based on how long you plan to have your party, but if you want the ending night images, you will have to book the photographer for the entire night.
If you are planning an ultra-intimate elopement, this schedule is probably longer than necessary, so feel free to reach out to the photography company to discuss your vision! Lorenzo Sandoval elopement photographer in Las Vegas works with many couples who have a simple ceremony with just the two love birds which only lasts a couple of hours. These images freeze the moment in time and tell the story of the wedding day with their loved ones who were in attendance.
If you are ready to say I do in the city of night lights and never-ending fun, you’ll need a photographer who can capture the day’s excitement. Las Vegas wedding photographer Lorenzo Sandoval is known for never missing a beat, photographing images of the couple and their guests enjoying all of the love.
We hope this helped you envision your wedding photography timeline, and that you feel excited– and prepared– for the most important day of your life!
