As a wedding photographer who is born in Las Vegas NV, I know every single part of the strip and Fremont street. It can be a fun place filled with lots of street performers and can be a lot of fun with the right time of day and the right friends. I’m going to go over some of my experiences photographing this location and how I shoot here as a photographer.

Fremont Street Experience Las Vegas NV

Las Vegas can be a fun place, but play it safe and of course be careful on how you spend, I often find that the tourist places can be way more expensive then the local areas. Im going to go over some main points what to expect at this location and to have the best time what to look out for when walking around this area on your wedding day. What locations I suggest seeking out and looking for the best photography locations in Las Vegas.

4 Queens Hotel and Casino

As you see on some of the shots, 4 Queens can be an awesome shot. You need to be careful though cause there are many people walking around. So just be careful when you shoot with your photographer and be aware of your surroundings. You have to normally go really low to get the full shot of the casino entrance if you want the whole sign. Ask your photographer to use a wide angle lens for this particular shot.

The Sidewalk

This is a great shot when walking across the street. Here’s the reason why it’s such a great shot in my opinion as a professional photographer in Las Vegas. When the person is walking you can catch them in action looking at all the lights around. The colors can also change depending on what light hits your couple or subject to make it spontaneous and full of color.

The Rooftop Garage At Fremont Experience

This is a really hidden quiet place at the Fremont parking garage I’ve always liked. They have a light-up sign on the corner of the top parking lot which I thought is pretty cool. It’s a simple aesthetic, but you can capture some simple emotions and close up shots, and there are fewer people up there so you don’t have to deal with people walking around.

You have to make sure the photographer brings a flash or a stand-up flash to brighten the subject. But still a quiet spot before you into the chaos where the people are.

Wedding Photography on Fremont Street

You know what I really love about my hometown is the wedding photography around the areas with unique light. As a wedding photographer light becomes your best friend, as also windows and mirrors. You can walk around get some neat reflections and ensure a great romantic shot during the night life. Fremont street is known for its classic Vegas vibe, which we locals call, “Old Vegas”. This is because most of Fremont street is actually part of old Las Vegas NV.

Casinos and Surrounding Light Areas for Photography

Because there is so many places to shot here’s a bullet point of all the places you can shoot.

• Windows or mirrors to shoot them at the reflection
• The entertainers who are in the area
• The different color lights that change the location
• The lights above you in each casino.
• The personality of the street performers
• The parking garage

My Final Thoughts

Fremont Street Las Vegas is an extremely popular spot, so you have to be aware. There will be tons of people there. As a wedding photographer, my goal is to show you where some of the best spots to take your wedding photos.
